Robotic Spraying System: This is the hallmark equipment of the STM process. The robot grips the fiber mat and precisely sprays high-pressure atomized polyurethane resin onto it, ensuring uniform impregnation. The spraying method can be either single-sided or double-sided.
Automated Loading and Unloading System: Through the use of conveyor belts or shuttle cars, the impregnated fiber mats are automatically fed into the mold, and after curing and molding, the finished products are removed, achieving a fully automated production rhythm.
Thermal Management System: This system is used to heat the mold (typically with an oil temperature controller) to ensure that the material rapidly cures at high temperatures (generally ranging from 165-180°C), with a production cycle of approximately 1-2 minutes.
Utilizing high-precision robotic arms and nozzles, liquid resin (typically two-component polyurethane) is uniformly sprayed onto fiber layers outside the mold. After complete impregnation, the assembly is transferred into the mold for curing, achieving fully automated production. The process primarily includes unwinding, cutting, automated material feeding, polyurethane automated spraying, automatic release agent application, compression molding with heating and curing, and automated demolding.
