台车式炉是一种炉底做成活动台车、在台车拉出炉外后装卸炉料的间歇式工业炉，其装有行走机构的炉底由牵引机构沿地面上的轨道拉出或拖入炉膛，便于在炉外装卸工件。台车式炉适用于不便在室式炉内加热的大型钢锭、钢坯、钢板的锻压前加热和大型铸件、锻件、焊接件的热处理加热，也广泛应用于陶瓷、耐火材料、玻璃等行业的烧结工艺以及科研实验中的可控气氛热处理。台车式炉可用气体或液体作燃料，也可用电加热。使用气体或液体燃料时，烧嘴多布置在炉膛两侧，上部烧嘴一般向上倾斜15°，下部烧嘴一般向下倾斜5°~10°或水平方向布置，以防止火焰直接冲刷工件。

The bogie hearth furnace is an intermittent industrial furnace with a movable bogie as its furnace bottom. The furnace charge is loaded and unloaded after the bogie is pulled out of the furnace. Its furnace bottom, equipped with a traveling mechanism, is drawn in or out of the furnace chamber along tracks on the ground by a traction mechanism, facilitating the loading and unloading of workpieces outside the furnace. The bogie hearth furnace is suitable for pre-forging heating of large steel ingots, billets, and steel plates that are inconvenient to heat in chamber furnaces, as well as for the heat treatment heating of large castings, forgings, and welded components. It is also widely applied in the sintering processes of industries such as ceramics, refractories, and glass, as well as in controlled atmosphere heat treatment for scientific research experiments. The bogie hearth furnace can utilize gas or liquid fuels, or electric heating. When gas or liquid fuels are used, the burners are typically arranged on both sides of the furnace chamber. The upper burners are generally inclined upward by 15°, while the lower burners are inclined downward by 5° to 10° or arranged horizontally to prevent direct flame impingement on the workpieces.
